Join the Greater NY Welding Chapter
Joining the Greater New York Welding Chapter entitles you to an
inexpensive way to certify as many welders as you would like for a
one time cost. Also, by complying with welding codes only sound
welds are produced - saving you, the contractor, time and money that
would otherwise be wasted in going back to correct errors.
Requirements for Membership:

You must be a contractor who is regularly
engaged in the fabrication or erection of piping systems.

You must be a signatory to a labor agreement
with the United Association of Journeymen & Apprentices of the
Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry (United Association or UA for
short).

Be a member of a local chapter of the NCPWB
where available before joining the national organization
To join, simply print out and complete the
GNYWC Membership Application (PDF) form and enclose it along
with a check made payable to the Greater New York Welding Chapter
for $800. This includes your initiation fee of $250 and annual
dues of $550 (annual dues will be prorated according to your join date).
